Your photos and face data never leave your device. Glowlens is a beauty camera and AI photo editor that runs entirely on your iPhone. We do not operate a server, we do not require an account, and we do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information or any face data. This policy explains, in plain language, how your information is handled.
Glowlens (“Glowlens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an iOS application that provides an AI beauty camera and photo-editing tools. This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Glowlens app on Apple devices. By using Glowlens, you agree to the practices described here.
We do not collect your personal information. Glowlens works offline, and the following are handled entirely on your device:

iOS asks your permission before Glowlens can use your Camera (for the live beauty viewfinder) or Photo Library (to edit photos you already took and to save your exports). You can change these anytime in Settings → Glowlens.
Glowlens uses on-device face detection to apply its beauty and retouching effects. When you use the camera or edit a photo, the app uses Apple’s Vision framework — which runs entirely on your device — to detect where a face appears in the image, so that effects such as skin smoothing are applied to the correct area.
What we collect: No face data is collected. The app performs face detection (finding the location/region of a face in the current image), not face recognition. Glowlens does not identify you, does not create a faceprint, face template, or facial-geometry map, and cannot match your face to any identity or to any other photo.
How it is used: The detected face location is used solely, and only in the moment, to position cosmetic effects on your photo within the app.
Sharing: Face data is never shared with us or any third party. It is never uploaded or transmitted off your device — the app has no server and performs no network transmission of images or face data.
Storage & retention: Face-detection results are not stored. They exist only transiently in memory while an effect is being rendered and are then immediately discarded. Retention period: none. There is no face data to delete because none is ever saved, logged, or retained.
Where it happens: Entirely on your device, using Apple’s on-device Vision framework. No third-party SDK and no cloud service is involved in face processing.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or tracking.
We do not sell or share your personal information or face data, and Glowlens contains no advertising SDKs or data brokers. The only third party involved is Apple, which processes App Store purchases and subscriptions under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Your creations and preferences live in Glowlens’s sandboxed storage on your device. They remain there until you delete them in the app or delete the app, which removes all associated on-device data. Photos you exported to your Photo Library are managed by you in Apple Photos. Face-detection data is never stored (see the Face Data section). Because we don’t transmit or host your content, there is no server-side copy of your data.
Glowlens is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app collects no personal data at all, no such information is gathered from any user.
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Glowlens holds no personal data and no face data on any server, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase — your data stays entirely under your control on your device. Your content and preferences are protected by iOS’s built-in app sandboxing and by your device passcode / Face ID / Touch ID. Since Glowlens does not transmit or store your photos or face data on any server, there is no remote copy to be breached.
We may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last Updated” date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
