What SoftNet HRMS & CRM does

HRMS — Angular

  • Internal workforce operations
  • Employee records
  • Built for the operator's own teams

CRM — React

  • Complaint management
  • Customer support
  • Installations and inquiries
  • Stock management
  • Form development

Shared back end — C#

  • One service layer behind both front ends
  • Business rules kept in one place
  • Integration work

How we built it

Challenges

A broadband operator runs two very different businesses at once — an internal workforce and a large customer base. Each needed its own system, without duplicating the business rules and integrations that both depend on.

Our Process

We built two front ends on one shared C# service layer: an Angular HRMS for the people side and a React CRM for the customer side, so each could evolve on its own release cadence.

Solutions

An HRMS covering internal operations, and a CRM covering complaints, support, forms, installations, inquiries, stock and integration.

Results

Two systems in production for one operator, each independently releasable, with the rules they share living in a single back end rather than being maintained twice.

What did DI Solutions build for SoftNet?

Two systems, not one. An HRMS built in Angular handles the internal people side of the operator, and a CRM built in React handles the customer side. Both sit on a shared C# back end, so employee and customer data live behind one service layer.

Why two front-end frameworks on one back end?

The systems were built for different audiences and lifecycles. Keeping them as separate front ends lets each evolve on its own release cadence, while a single C# service tier avoids duplicating the business rules and integrations that both need.

What does the SoftNet CRM cover?

Complaint management, customer support, form development, installations, inquiries, stock management and integration work. The CRM engagement is documented in full in its own case study, which goes further into the delivery detail than this page.

This page is about the two systems as a product; the case study is about how the CRM engagement ran. They are deliberately different documents.
